The Power Of Reading

Do you suggest any particular genre that content writers should read that may aid in making them more skilled at their job, or do you think reading other people's blogs does the trick?

Great question from one of our honorable, dear curious sisters.

Well.

It depends.

In my case, I learned a lot following fiction books like an ever-curious reader.

In our country, even writers pay less attention to reading.

First, we need to break our thoughts and barriers by utilizing reading weapons.

Every day I try to read from everywhere.

Billboard, newspaper, YouTube comments.

Subtitles, descriptions, FB comments, long posts.

Classic and adventure books, detective, thrillers.

Adventure, funny, TEd Ex, the list will go on.

I always try to adapt new ideas and styles in writing from great writers on LinkedIn.

Wirecutter.com is also informative.

It's also true for VOA(Voice Of America) and the British Council.

Everyone's taste is different.

So, it's up to you to choose your passion.

Listen to your heart and soul's inner voice with empathy through reading.

Podcast also worked great for me.

And I never feel shy to ask questions and give feedback.

Helping others is also a great way to improve writing skills.

It boosts our thinking process with wisdom.

If you want to be a good writer, you must be a good reader.

Writers should read other genres to develop their thinking power.
